Imsouane has two main spots, but "The Bay" is the star of the show. It's a right-hand point break that breaks over a sandy bottom. The Cathedral Break
On the other side of the village lies "Cathedral," a faster, more powerful reef/point break. When the swell is big, this spot offers world-class barrels and steep sections for shortboarders. Imsouane truly offers something for every type of surfer.
The Imsouane Experience
A trip to Imsouane is about more than just the surf. It's about the journey. The drive from Essaouira takes you through the Atlas mountains and along stunning coastal cliffs. Once you arrive, the tradition is to surf for 3 hours, then head to the port to eat fresh fish grilled right in front of you.
